Finally, a week after Hurricane Ike came ashore in Galveston, I’m here in Montgomery County with my power back on. It’s been quite an eye opener for sure. This was my first major hurricane to experience and it won’t be one I’m likely to forget soon. I was here for Tropical Storm Allison some years ago and Hurricane Rita was a near miss. But Hurricane Ike is the first one that I’ve had to deal with.

You’ve all seen the tag lines. Obama is against big D.C. lobbyist. Obama will stop special interest. Obama will send all the lobbyist packing. Osama Obama and Joe Biden will shake up Washington.

I’m Going To Vote Democrat

After giving it some thought, doing my research on the Presidential candidates and losing countless hours of sleep, I’ve finally came to a decision about what I will be doing come November. I think all of you will agree if you just look at this Presidential Race logically.

I’m Voting Democrat this year and here’s why.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
