Bobby Knight Resigns From Texas Tech

Bobby Knight has resigned from Texas Tech. No reason was given at this time. His son will continue to coach Texas Tech for the remainder of the season. Bobby Knight coached the Red Raiders to 5 20 win seasons since taking over the coaching job at Texas Tech in 2001.

Bobby Knight came to Texas Tech from Indiana where he won 3 National Championships for the Hoosiers.

Bobby Knight is also the winningest coach in Division 1 Mens Basketball. He will be missed at Texas Tech. Bobby Knight is probably best known for his temper, which was the reason many believed he was fired at Indiana.

More details are expected in the next few days as to the reason Bobby Knight resigned from Texas Tech.
