President Bush is out on the PR trail, still pushing this Amnesty Bill brought up by the likes of Ted Kennedy and John McCain. Now he’s telling the media that anyone who is against this Amnesty Bill does not “want what’s right for America”. Now he’s just pissed me off.
I can overlook a lot of things that President Bush has said and done in the past that I didn’t agree with. I can overlook his spending like a liberal-soon-to-be-divorcee on her husbands credit card, I can overlook his “can’t we all just get along” attitude toward the Democrats that caused him to have virtually a lame duck presidency for the past 7 years with little meaningful legislation passed, I can even overlook his mis-handling of the Iraq war and playing politics with our Troops lives.
But saying that I “don’t want what’s right for America” just because I don’t want to give 20 million freakin’ illegal aliens Amnesty, naw, that’s just plain wrong.
But I’ll play along with President Bush and say he is right.
So this is what “good for America?”
- 20 million illegal aliens draining our public service systems of tax dollars that legal citizens have paid into
- no health and criminal background checks on illegals entering the U.S. It’s been documented time and time again that illegals from South of the border are bringing in their 3rd World Country diseases to this country. You only have to look at the outbreaks of TB, Plague and Leprosy along the border to see what I’m talking about
- increased Gov. spending on managing these illegals. Who do you thinks going to do all the documentation? I can see this turning into another Government agency real quick along with its multi billion dollar porck barrel projects
- your tax dollars funding college tuition for these illegals once the Amnesty bill passes
- your tax dollars funding attorney fees for these illegal aliens to turn around and sue the Federal Government and legal citizens and to tie up our Court system with appeals to the Immigration Courts and the Courts of Appeals
- the ‘Z’ visas President Bush and others want to give to these illegal aliens will give them immediate lawful rights, freedom to come and go across the border, prohibit them from being deported
- the Amnesty Bill will give millions of illegals the right to vote in both local and national elections
- illegals will be elgible for RETROACTIVE Social Security Benefits
- give free education and medical benefits to ex-illegal aliens
- gives amnesty to over 600 thousand illegal criminals already “lost” in the United States, approximately 15,000 which are MS-13 Gang members (as well as any member of a South American gang)
Yes Sir Mr. President, I now see the great vision you have for America! How blind I was not to have seen this.
I really feel that President Bush is reaching for something to base his legacy on. He knows illegal immigration is a big deal now and he hopes this little bill schemed up will show Americans “See, Looky What I Did”. Why do I think that.
Because he keeps saying this is our best chance to pass immigration reform.
I respectfully disagree. I think the next elections will be all about immigration because many of us are getting fed up with it and have been for years. It was such an issue last election that many of us stayed home and the exit polls swear the Republicans lost because of the Iraq war. Really? You can’t exit poll someone who didn’t show up to vote, and those that didn’t vote were pissed off about immigration.
This thing is going to sneak up and bite many Politicians in the butt and I can’t wait till it does. Â
And what about the Immigration Bill of 1986? Boy, that sure stopped the flow of illegals didn’t it? It stopped the approximately 3 million that were here then from becoming the 20 million it is today….didn’t it?
This Bill is bad for America. Perhaps the worst immigration bill every to come through Congress and President Bush and a select bunch of leaders is trying to force feed us B.S. and tell us its chocolate cake.
Mark Twain once said “No man’s life, liberty or property is safe while the Congress is in session.” No truer words have been spoken. You’d better be on the phone and sending emails to your elected officials and tell them to vote against U.S. Senate Bill 1348. Remind them that they are there representing you and other like minded VOTERS.
Of course, if you’re a Sheeple and sit on your furry but and do nothing, don’t bitch when the bill is passed and it starts affecting you and your family, ’cause we told you so’.
