Wildfires in California are ravaging the Southern parts of the State. 500,000 people have been ordered to evacuate.

I don’t know about you, but I have mixed feelings about this.

On one hand I feel sorry for the people who’ve lost their homes and certainly feel for the Families of those lost in the fire.

However, it’s not like no one knew this could happen.

For years, experts have said that the underbrush needs to be kept cleared out. Yet, the tree huggers and Green movement have passed laws and ordinances prohibiting landowners and municipalities from clearing the brush.

So in that respect, sorry guys, you had it coming. You were told over and over that the underbrush was creating a fire hazard, yet you did nothing to keep it cleared out.

Heck, I read a story last year where some Cities prohibited landowners from bringing in Goats to keep the brush thinned out.

The California Wildfires are a big price to pay for being stupid.

Here’s a little tidbit of information for you folks out there. Wildfires are nature’s way of clearing the underbrush. You either keep it cleared or Nature will do it for you.

For those of you who didn’t want the underbrush cleared because it would “ruin the viewing pleasure” or some other B.S., how’s the charred Earth look from your window, if you still have one left?

Nature isn’t always about little furry bunnies. Sometimes she can be a real bitch!
