Finally, a week after Hurricane Ike came ashore in Galveston, I’m here in Montgomery County with my power back on. It’s been quite an eye opener for sure. I was happy to hear that our beloved Texas Supreme Court ruled that CPS overstepped their authority and ordered the FLDS kids to be reunited with their families. Yesterday, the Texas Supreme Court agreed with a lower court that CPS went above their authority when the snatched the FLDS kids away from their parents. Isn’t it a shame that most of us already knew that and it took the Texas Supreme court to make the State of Texas aware of that?

Some People Should Not Own Pets
I was headed North on Hwy 290 the other morning when I saw this pickup that had this dog in the back. That wouldn’t bother me so much except it was raining lightly, temperature was about 42 and the wind was howling out of the North.
As you can see from the picture, the poor dog was freakin’ cold. I don’t know if you can see, but the way he had the dog tied in, it couldn’t get down below the bed of the pickup.

Wow, it’s been since Oct since I posted…..yeah…yeah…I know the blog etiquette about posting and not saying anything if you do go a while without posting…yadda…yadda…yadda.
It’s still my blog and I post when I feel like it!
So…let’s see…what’s happened since I posted last.
I really haven’t followed the political scene much. Although I did see Ron Paul get cut up pretty good by Rudy in the last debate. Ron had that deer in the head light look as Rudy explained to him how foreign policy works. You could tell Ron Paul just doesn’t get it.
