Patrick Knight, a condemned inmate set to die by lethal injection later this month, want to tell jokes before the shoot the juice to him.

I have mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, I don’t think the family of the couple he shot to death outside Amarillo will find anything funny to laugh about. Their say should come above his. It should be up to them whether this loser gets to tell jokes as they’re putting him to sleep for the last time.

If it wasn’t for the Family of the victims, I could care less. He could tell jokes all he wanted until he went bye bye.

This bozo is soliciting people to send him jokes before he’s executed.

I have one for ya.

Q. What do you call a defendent found guilty of murdering two innocent people? A. A Dept. of Correction Needle Cushion.

Patrick said:

He said he prefers jokes that don’t have a prison or death penalty theme.

“That depresses me,” he said.

Well shucks, let’s not depress the guy before he dies. I’d thought the whole death penalty thing would have been depressing. But apparently not, it must be one big party on Death Row. Hey Gov. Perry, how about getting them all in one night?

Couldn’t you imagine the reaction if the Warden walked down Death Row and announced “Dead men walking! The Gov. said to make room on Death Row, so everyone get’s the needle tonight.”
