I received an interesting email from an anonymous person the other day. In this email the person said that there was a Conroe ISD teacher who was making the Students say the Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish.
I have a couple friends who work in various departments in the Conroe ISD so I called them and asked them to put an ear out and see if they could find out more.
From what they could find out, the Teacher told the Students that they must say the Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish because it was a “State Requirement”.
Apparently one of the Students parents called and complained and asked if it was really a State requirement that the Pledge be said in Spanish.
The parent was told “No, it wasn’t” and the parent told Conroe ISD that the daughter didn’t want to recite the Pledge in Spanish.
As far as anyone can tell, no disciplinary actions were taken against this Teacher. I’m sure Conroe ISD wants to keep this under cover but a Teacher lying to Students about something like this should be disciplined.
This is just another example of a Liberal Teacher imposing their will on unsuspecting Students.
If someone knows someone higher up the food chain in Conroe ISD or in the State Departments, I’d appreciate it if you’d try and get to the bottom of this. I think a Public statement from Conroe ISD is in order!
