How many of us in Houston have known that the TxDot is about as brain dead as they come? I’m not sure where they’re getting their Civil Engineers, you know, the guys who shut down 4 lanes of a 6 lane highway and those 4 lanes have no construction workers on them? It’s these same guys who decided the Beltway 8 exchange at I-10 on the West side needed rebuilt…why? They’re not sure why, they just know it needed rebuilt.

They’re either brain dead and/or they’re getting some helluva kickbacks! Personally, it would take a lot of money for me to pull the crap they have and to have all of Texas believe I was the biggest group of dumbasses in the State.
Of course, you’d have to have some sort of dignity to be ashamed enough.
But do not fear good Houstonian’s. The incompetence of the TxDot has spread North East to the Kingwood, Porter and New Caney area. Once again, they’re not sure what the hell hey are doing, but by-George they’re doing it!
More lanes closed for no apparent reason, more goof ups. Yep, it’s nice to see the TxDot hasn’t changed a bit!

And we all know these things will come to light after the roads are built
- It took longer to build than projected
- It went way over budget projections
- It took so long that now additional lanes need added
It’s about time that TxDot as well as many other state agencies were overlooked by citizen watchdog groups and the heads of those agencies made responsible for the stupid decisions they make. This incompetence has to stop someplace!
