This is an actual headline to a news story, I kid you not. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
Okay, some of you will love this, some of you won’t. I just read an article on Yahoo about how it’s common for gay couples to exist in the Animal kingdom. Yeah, they’ve finally have found some gay animals so now it must be natural…right?
For years, many people who argued against the Gay activist line of “It’s natural” used the fact that homesexuality was not natural in the Animal kingdom.
Well, now they’ve found some Scientist that say it IS NATURAL for gay couples to exist in the animal kingdom. You have to wonder if these are the same debunked Global Warming scientist…or if they came from the same school.
Okay, if you don’t want to go and read this article, I’m going to give you some excerpts to show you how freakin’ outrageous this article is and what a stretch of the imagination that Live Science had to go to in order to make it even remotely sound credible. By the way, Live Science is the website that was the original producer of the findings, I guess Yahoo just ripped it off from them.
Gay Animal Example #1
Roy and Silo, two male chinstrap penguins at New York’s Central Park Zoo, were a couple for about six years, during which they nurtured a fertilized egg together (given to them by a zookeeper) and raised the young chick that hatched.
Oh wow! I’m a believer now! You take two male penguins and put them in a pen together and they become friends. Yeah…you could have done that with two of any species of animals I’m betting! I love it how the story says they nurtured a fertilized egg together! (provided by the Zookeepers)
Okay, let’s take a look at this. The fertilized egg had to be given to these two male Penguins. Hey, if it was “natural” and “common” why couldn’t they produce their own egg? Furthermore, how common is it for two male penguins to be caged together and given an egg by a Zookeeper? Not very I’m betting.
Gay Animal Example #2
According to University of Oslo zoologist Petter Böckman, about 1,500 animal species are known to practice same-sex coupling, including bears, gorillas, flamingos, owls, salmon and many others.
Funny, in the blockquote above from the Yahoo article, there’s link to Live Science’s page on this and they say there have been only about 500 species where gay activity was documented, not 1500.
Gosh, where do I even go with this one. It’s blatantly obvious that not only Yahoo and Live Science have an agenda to market, they’re also so hopelessly biased they’ll even throw out a story like this. Perhaps if Yahoo would worry about turning out relevant and trustworthy content, they wouldn’t losing their asses and begging for help from Microsoft.
The Zoologist from Oslo doesn’t give examples, but I bet if he did they would all be instances involving young inexperienced males with raging hormones. It’s common for young male animals and birds to try and mount anything. Ever see a young Rooster in the barnyard? Nothing is safe from his advances. I’ve seen young Roosers try for every bird in the yard. Ducks, Geese, Guinea’s and yes, even other Roosters. However, once the young Rooser is older, he stops this practice. Possible realizing that it’s hopeless. Of course, neither Yahoo or Live Science would tell you that. The same is true for young Bulls. They’ll try and mount Cows, calves and other Bulls if they get the chance. But they don’t continue to do so after they’ve “grown up”.
Then we have a biologist from the University of California who tries to rationalize this practice by saying:
Marlene Zuk, a biologist at the University of California, Riverside, suggested that gay individuals contribute to the gene pool of their community by nurturing their relatives’ young without diverting resources by having their own offspring.
So these “Gay” animals only nurture the young of others so they don’t divert resources by having young of their own…and to think, these people are suppose to be educated people. Just goes to show, you can teach common sense no matter how long you’re in school.
Hey Miss Biologist. Did you ever consider that these instance are only by the young, inexperienced “horny” males of the communities. Show me where being a Gay animal is common in the wild with “mature” males.
Yeah, that’s what I thought.
And finally, just to make all you anti-Gay people feel stupid, here’s a excerpt from the end of he article.
“It’s a very interesting question as to why anybody ever cares,” Mann said. “There are different theories about why people find it threatening. Some think it disrupts male bonds, like you’re not playing for the right team. The funny thing is that people say homosexuality is unnatural, that non-humans don’t engage in homosexual behavior, but that’s not true. Then they’ll say it’s base and animalistic.”
“It’s kind of a shame because I think that probably is a reason why people don’t look at it more,” Mann said. “That’s probably why we haven’t gotten further. You would think we’d know more than we do by now.”
Yeah, I bet you anti-Gay people are feeling pretty bad about right now, hunh!
This is another perfect example of how the Left wing media tries to impose their beliefs on other people.
This is how it breaks down. It starts by showing you some stupid example like in example 1 above.
It then sites supposedly “trustworthy” sources to try and make their view valid.
Lastly, if all else fails, they try and make you or anyone who believes different from them, sound stupid by again having supposedly “trustworthy” authority figures make stupid, unfounded and unproven statments like Janet Mann, the biologist from Georgetown University, did above. They try to pass their own opinions off as scientific findings.
Nice try Yahoo and Live Science, but most of us know better.
