I live in Atlanta and we have some of the worst traffic ever, and many of us thought the traffic would be horrible. In fact, I was due to have my first child during the Olympics and my hospital was across town and I thought about staying with relatives as I got closer to my due date.

In turn,I had my daughter 2 weeks early and traffic was a breeze in this city. I guess it also helps that we have a pretty good transportation system(it could be expanded a little more). Many people took the bus and rode the train and not to mention many people let town and rented out their homes.

Who knows maybe one day Houston will get the Olympics....you guys are the 4th largest city in the States and from what I heard an International City.
