ron paulYou can’t say I didn’t warn you about Ron Paul. You know it’s bad whenever a Yankee newspaper runs an article on what a Whackjob Ron Paul is!

Now there are some disturbing stories coming out of the woodwork about some of Ron Paul’s views on racism. Seems Ron Paul sent out some newsletters back in the early 90’s that were not very flattering of certain races, mainly blacks and Jews.

This blogger scored some archived Houston Chronicle articles where one of Ron Paul’s newsletters sited a unspecified poll: (highlighting is mine)

Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action,”

“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal,”

Paul also wrote that although “we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.”

After he made these remarks in his newsletters, and after the fat hit the fire, Ron Paul then tried to pass them off and blame his staff saying he didn’t write the newsletter. He made another statement after he caught flak for blaming his staff that indicated “some of the responsibility” was his since the newsletters had his name on them.

Gee, do your think so Ron?

Ron Paul has been caught several other times with his hand in the Racist cookie jar as this blogger has uncovered.

Why do I bring this up? Am I an Ultra Sensative racial type? Not at all. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The reason I bring these issues up is to once again show those of you who are blindly following Ron Paul what bad judgements this guy is capable of. Hell, he made all these comments in a newsletter when there was no pressure at all. Then he practically self implodes in the first two Republican debates when thrown softball questions.

If a guy can not make common sense judgement calls under these circumstances, why in the hell do you think he’ll make good judgements when under the pressure of being the President of The United States? The truth is, he won’t. And that is one reason I and the majority of other Americans will not be voting for him…well that and the fact he’s a couple brick shy of a full load.

And to prove that point, here’s a cut from the last debate where he tries to blame 9-11 on our presence in the Middle East.

As the race for President heats up, the Ron Paul political race looks like it’s beginning to smoke and going down in flames. Ron Paul’s only hope now is the push he’s been getting from the Democratic party. They realize their only hope in winning in ‘08 is stand up Ron Paul to become the next Ross Perot. Only time will tell if the blind will take the bait on this one.

Those quotes are not racist nor are they directly his words. All they do is tell the truth about the discrimination that is rampant in the criminal justice and educational systems. Read them closer, in context, and don’t distort the logic. Let me know when you find something that isn’t true within them.

  2. Steve Dasbach on June 4th, 2007 8:46 am

Ron Paul has more than 20 years of articles, recorded speeches before congress, newsletters, etc. The ONLY examples of racist comments were from these newsletters from 1992, which is consistent with them being penned by a staffer while Paul was traveling.

Should he have checked the copy before it was mailed? Yes. Should he have acknowledged the problem when it occurred? Yes. However, the absence of any similar comments or situations in the past 15 years makes it clear that Paul is NOT a racist, and that he is now doing proper oversight on material published in his name.

You bring up the valid point of concern, the newsletter comments. However, you claim there are other incidents of racism, and yet the link you provide rehashes the same newsletter.

Dr. Paul has too long a career for one newsletter to be damming proof of his personal racism. At least show the effort to not recite the same incident as sepeate events.

I still love blogs, even though they give dumb people like you a channel through which to express your dumb opinions.

  5. Dave Prunczik on June 4th, 2007 4:13 pm

    No kiddin’, what next?

Adolph Bush Jr. actively excludes 200,000 black voters in Y2K and Y2K+4 elections (and steals 2 presidential elections in the process) and this is your commentary on racism in America?

We are all racists. All 350 million of us. So, now what, moron? Let the Fed continue to rob our treasury and steal our gold reserves, splitting the take with their oil and arms dealer buddies while they usher in another wank-as-president to erase our borders and give us a new pretend money Amero?

BTW, nice Governor y’all have down there in Texas. Wonder what his cut is for letting them cut a swath through Texas for the beaner trucking companies to blow through unabated, loaded to the gills with Chink crapola goods and who knows what else?

All the manufacturing jobs are gone. Once the Teamsters and independent truckers as well as the Longshoremen are gone, I guess we can all mow each other’s lawns for a living. Oh wait, the illegal beaners will get those jobs too.

But hey, by all means focus on this stupid newsletter and save us poor misguided fools.

  6. DirtGuy on June 4th, 2007 8:30 pm

Dave, what have you been smokin’? Wow, where do I start…let’s see. Funny you should mention the Independent trudckers, Teamsters and Longshoremen in all one sentence. The Teamstres and Longshormen are part of the problem that plagues independent truckers, they’re not the cure.

    Ring…Ring…Ring…”Hello?”

Dave, it’s for you, it the 2000 Elections calling, they said it’s been 7 years, get over it.

The manufacturing jobs you’re talking about were the dime a dozen textile jobs are the manufacturing jobs the Unions priced the workers out of. Oh wait, you’re a Union man correct? Sorry, forgot about that. I’m sure you can explain why the Unions expect the American public to pay you to make a T-short for $40 an hour.

Dave, you sound like a poor, miserable guy, always blaming others for your problems. C’mon buddy, this is America. Pull you’re working boots on along with your thinking cap and get into the game!

“I started this blog simply because I was fed up with all the crap heaped on us from Austin. Then I realized our local governments, special interest groups and those we elected to Office were joining in and heaping crap on us like we’re nothing more than a bunch of Mushrooms!”

Gotta pull out the racist card, huh? Must be scared of Dr. Ron.

  10. Freedom1 on June 12th, 2007 9:16 pm

Ron Paul is totally taken out of context here in an obvious attempt to smear him.. I mean for real you still think he is wrong about it being related to our foriegn policy are you that *##***..

Why don’t you read the 9-11 commission report issued by the government it says this very thing!! Ron Paul speak the truth that what hurts you people.. the truth hurts.. Ron Paul is absolutely NOT Racist, this is against his whole mindset for the last 30 years!! Liberty for all!

This also makes it obvious that Gulagani didn’t even read the 911 commission report.. guess he already knew what happed anyway..

For real people don’t buy this garbage… Ron Paul is the real deal.. Let freedom ring…

Support the Contitution - Support Ron Paul!!

  11. DirtGuy on June 12th, 2007 9:57 pm

I didn’t pull out the racist card, Ron did.

Do you see it? You people still don’t get it do you? You’re all ready to rush to this guy’s defense, just as you did when he said that 9-11 was America’s fault. You rush in to explain what Ron meant or say that “Ron was taken out of context”.

If the man could communicate, you wouldn’t have to explain his statements for him! I already have one President who has a hard time speaking, I don’t need another one who can’t communicate basic thoughts.

The other thing is, Ron Paul is still saying he’s a Republican. If that’s a fact, why does he still claim to have Libertarian views? Either your a Republican or Libertarian. If he had as many Libertarian views (which include moral and ethical) as all his supporters say, he’d switch to the Libertarian party. But Ron knows where the cash cow is, that’s why you won’t see him change parties anytime soon, if ever. Yep, this is one moral and ethical man!

  12. Freedom1 on June 14th, 2007 11:24 am

He is the smartest, most ethical, guy running. IMO

He speaks more clearly than any other candidate.. IMO

He is the only one that speaks of preserving all Americans Freedoms, He is the only one that talks about the constitution..

So why don’t you tell us which candidate you support? Nothing to be ashamed of.. It’s a free country so every one is entitled to thier opinion..

And no I didn’t put word in Rons Mouth one of his aids did in 1992~!~ That is the only skeleton I have seen pulled out of his closet.. that makes him an Angel compared to the other candidates!!!

You are entitled to have you opinion that he is racist and you have this open forum to accept other opinions, and that’s what you have here..

    Thanks

From a foreign policy issue,it was refreshing and encouraging to see an american politicion finally understanding why the U.S is hated not only by perceived ‘enemies’ but also traditional allies.
However seeing americans trying to trash him because of this ,is disappointing.
If you can’t even listen and learn from eachother what chance have we in the rest of world got.
If you want to feel ’safe’ again then his way will lead you there.

  15. Militant Libertarian on July 18th, 2007 7:36 pm

I find it hilarious that people like yourself, the GOP good-ol-boys, and the Establishment in general find Ron Paul so frightening to your control of the People that you must concoct such b.s. in an attempt to smear his name.

I also find it amazing that you are so desperate to do so that you can only find two things to use (from 20+ years of his public life) to attack him with. And both of those are taken totally out of context in order to twist them to your ends.

If jackasses like you weren’t the type who are totally in control of our nation right now, I’d find this hilarious. Instead, I find it saddening, as you are but a kernel of corn in the large bucket of shit that is being dumped on our once-proud nation.

  16. DirtGuy on August 2nd, 2007 1:16 am

    Hey ML,

You should really try reading the blog. Have I said anything about being a Bush supporter? I have said I’m a Conservitive, but I’m guessing it’s too hard for you to figure out the differences between a Conservative and Republican?

Yeah, I’m a kernal of Corn buddy. Just like that kernal of Corn, I’m a survivor. I can take the crap that’s flung and keep on truckin’. Oh, but this isn’t what you were talking about is it? ROFLMAO…next time, use a better metaphor.

  17. julian on October 4th, 2007 9:19 pm

if you are Asian American, please support Ron Paul!
affirmative action is the worse thing ever, it introduces reverse discrimination against Asian American and White American, Google reverse discrimination by yourself
Ron Paul is the only one who brave enough to stand out against the real Racist — Government
    here is his words:
“In fact it is the federal government more than anything else that divides us along race, class, religion, and gender lines. Government, through its taxes, restrictive regulations, corporate subsidies, racial set-asides, and welfare programs, plays far too large a role in determining who succeeds and who fails in our society. This government “benevolence” crowds out genuine goodwill between men by institutionalizing group thinking, thus making each group suspicious that others are receiving more of the government loot. This leads to resentment and hostility between us.”

I believe he is the one who will Remove Reverse discrimination against Asian American and White, please help Ron Paul and help Asian American

As a Asian American, you have to score 200 more in SAT in order to get into same Univ as Black,

Support Ron Paul to remove Reverse discrimination

You find a couple blurbs of some Ron Paul comments and act like Any of the other candidates aren’t at least twice as bad. Your bias is as misplaced as your commentary on Dr. Paul. Truth is realized after facing 3 steps: Ridicule, Hostile Defense, and then finally as self-evident truth. Which stage are you on?

  19. Erik on December 8th, 2007 11:54 pm

Looks like your little blog turned out to make YOU look like the tin-foil hat wearing clown now didnt it. Either your a complete moron or youwork for the govt.Nah your just a moron.

  20. Eric on December 17th, 2007 5:58 pm

Woops posted that a bit early:

Great post! I linked to it at my site http://dirtyelection.com/?p=27.

Even if Ron Paul has no chance at becoming President it is still important to expose him as a Racist and Bigot since that has no place in this country especially not in a presidential candidate and current congressman!

  21. DaveH on December 28th, 2007 11:48 am

Well DirtGuy……I see the last comment posted was from Oct. Have you finally realized, after listening to all the candidates, that Ron Paul is the real deal? Or are you still trying to convince yourself and others that you know more than the rest of the country. I would suggest you take a look at all the poll numbers, not to mention the CLEAN campaign cash that keeps pouring in from average folks, folks who really can’t afford to give the money they do, but give it anyway, do you know why DirtGuy? It’s because they know that right now Ron Paul is the only shot real Americans have at taking our country back from the corporate fascists that are destroying it. So why don’t you open your eyes and shut your mouth….maybe you’ll learn something.

  22. stupid blog - why did i come here on February 27th, 2008 12:20 pm

Tin foil hat eh? - Don’t you know you are supposed to think of that when you are ignorant and can’t see what’s going on around you? THEY want you to simply chalk it up to “that guy is just crazy”

Ron Paul is crazy because this country has gone mad while he wants a return to our founders principles. So yeah, I guess that makes him crazy!!

Ron Paul has a vision while the rest of the nation is wearing bifocals.

YOUR BLOG SUCKS. AND YOU ARE A TYPICAL MORON. Hide behind your conditioned TIN FOIL reaction. Loser.
