Ron Paul’s new campaign slogan should be “Show Me The Money!”
Once again Ron Paul shows what he’s really made of. I hate to be the one to tell all you Ron Paul supporters you were getting hosed, but you wouldn’t listen to common sense. So, I have but one thing to say to ya’ll.
I TOLD YOU SO!
In a previouis statement, Ron Paul was reported to have said that as long as the money keeps coming in, he’ll keep running for President.
Oh really?
This man who is SOOoooo much about morals and integrity won’t quit the Presidential race because money is pouring into his campaign? Yeah…that’s morals and integrity right there…
Now this week he post’s a letter to his supporters telling them that he’s cutting back on his Presidential campaign to focus on his Congressional campaign.
Oh My God! Say it isn’t so Ron!?
I thought Ron Paul was a man who acted on his beliefs and principles??? I mean, that’s what all his supporters will tell you…right? In fact, that’s what Ron Paul has said in the past…correct?
If that was really the case…wouldn’t he give all that up to finish the Presidential race? I mean, after all, according to his supporters and his own mouth, he’s got integrity by the boatload and lives what he believes.
IF HE REALLY BELIEVED HE COULD WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE, THEN WHY IN THE HELL IS HE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS CONGRESSIONAL SEAT?
Truth is that we all knew from day 1 that Ron Paul wasn’t going to be any kind of serious threat to any Presidential race. He’s the Dennis Kucinich of the Republican party. I wouldn’t doubt that both go out hunting for crop circles or sit on the balconies of their D.C. Townhomes and count UFO’s flying over the capital.
You knew he wasn’t a contender, I knew it (and told you so) and Ron Paul knew he wasn’t a contender.
But Ron Paul is a brilliant marketer. As any good businessman did, he recognized a niche (the kooks and fringe no one else wanted) and exploited it for all it was worth. Several million dollars worth that is! Trouble is, Ron Paul got use to the milk from this Cash Cow and is going to continue milking it for all the Cash it’s worth.
One thing that Ron Paul did accomplish was raising money for his campaign. Wonder how much of that money he’s raised for his Presidential campaign will end up in his Congressional campaign?
The writing is on the Wall. Every one can see it but many don’t yet understand what it says. It says “I’ll keep doing this dog and pony show as long as you send me money.” Hey, he’s still getting the flakes sending him money…who can fault him for that?
Once again Ron Paul shows us more by his actions (or lack of) than by his words.
