Don't worry about WHO is supporting Ron Paul. Listen to his message. It's a message that ALL freedom loving Americans can appreciate: smaller government, lower taxes, less government spending, stop policing the world, end illegal immigration, and repeal the unconstitutional Patriot act. If those who believe in these principles are "kooks", then you would have called Washington, Jefferson, Paine, Franklin, and the rest of the founding fathers "certifiably insane". Ron Paul is the only candiate who truely honors the constitution of the United States. Defeat Hillary. Vote Ron Paul 2008.

Well, you got the quote wrong. We get the "government" we deserve. What's happening with the Paul campaign is what happens with any new ideas (even if they are good ones.) The biggest impediment to any new idea is its early adopters. But no candidate can afford to jettison supporters. Rudy has supporters who think the government should detain all Muslims. Thompson has supporters who think he really is the D.A. of New York City, southern accent and all. Huckabee has supporters who think evolution is the spawn of the devil. Romney has supporters who think polygamy is a higher calling. Tancredo and Hunter have tons of supporters who think Mexicans are all criminals and should be shot on sight. And Brownback has no supporters at all.
And yet, only Ron Paul is taken to task because some of his supporters are on the fringe. Well, too bad. No politician can be held responsible for who supports him. When Ron Paul couldn't get arrested, people like Alex Jones would give him air time. And that attracted a lot of people who are conspiracists and truthers. Ron Paul has always said he doesn't buy in to their philosophy. So it's merely one more thing that the media types can try to tar him with. He is an eminently reasonable and prudent man. He does not surround himself with fringe people. I support him and you couldn't find anyone more mainstream than me. So, let's see the media give him real, honest coverage and watch the percentage of "fringe" people drop when he gets larger numbers supporting him. . . but that's just what the media is trying to guard against, isn't it?

You can find crazy people who support ever person running. This has got to be one of the dumbest things ever written (you are also a terrible writer). You shouldn't vote for someone because a "kook" supports them. Debate the issues
