Let me get this straight . . .

We’re going to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose head says he doesn’t understand it,

passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it,
signed by a president that also hasn’t read it and who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and
financed by a country that’s nearly broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

You only have to look at the Cash For Clunkers debacle to see how Congress and the President can screw stuff up, big time. And now they want us to believe they can run Socialized Medicine!

But I think for posterity’s sake I’ll just mention in passing that Ted Kennedy probably did more to harm this Country than any other politician I can think at the moment. He certainly never did live up to the standards set by Jack and Robert. He worked to pass nearly every liberal agenda he could. He worked hard to open the flood gates of illegal immigration. He fought hard to take away our 2nd Amendment rights and much more.

In the upcoming weeks we’re going to hear about how great he was. Obviously only Liberals and those In Mass. thought he was great. For some reason Mass. voters could never see through him to see how he only worked for whatever was in HIS best interest. Outside of Mass., he never had the respect that Liberals would like you to think he had. Just mentioning his name conjured up images of everything that is wrong with this Country and none of the good. Yet, the people of Mass. could never understand why the were looked down on or made the butt of Ted Kennedy jokes by the rest of the Country.

I do feel for his family. It’s hard for any family to deal with a death. My thoughts and prayers will go out to his family. I’ll also say a prayer for him, because I think he’s going to need it.

What is even more ironic is that Obama invited Congressmen to the White House to read the bill “line by line”. Yet, Obamas press secretary couldn’t tell reporters whether or not Obama himself would read the bill when asked. Instead, Robert Gates, Obama’s press secretary, tried to turn the tables on the reporter by asking him if he’d had read the bill. Typical Whitehouse Whitewashing.

Bush Outclasses Obama

In fact, do you remember what Bush did when asked about the protesters? He simply said they had a right to protest. Even Hillary Clinton stated that that it was an American’s job to question the President and Congress during the time when War protest were breaking out everywhere.

Funny how the Democrats forget such things when they are the ones being protested!

Obama and the Democrats have called people protesting against his Socialized Medicine and other wacked out plans as “unAmerican”, Mobs, unruly and other negative comments. All the while Obama ignores his falling approval rating and polls showing his Socialized Health Care Reform as being unpopular among Americans.

In fact now the Democrats and the White House have turned to low-down sneaky tactics to keep legitimate voters from attending Town Hall Meetings. The Democrats new tactics is to cancel these Town Hall meetings altogether or set them up as Teleconferences. And when they do show up, as video’d at a recent Town Hall Meeting, they’re sending ACORN and SEIU members in the back door to fill up the first half or more of the seats so they can’t be filled by voters wanting the truth on these programs. They’re also using Union (SEIU and others) and ACORN members  to keep those who disagree with the President or the Congressional leaders out of these Town Hall meetings.

All this from a President and the Democratic Party who stated more than once that they would bring this country together, provide transparency and work together with everyone. You can add that to a long list of campaign promises that Barack Obama has blown off since becoming President!

What the White House did was remove several sectors (like those who gave up looking for a job and left the workforce) from the reports so the numbers would look a lot better than what they are. In actuality, the job numbers are worse than they were for June.

Here’s what Obama had to say after the news came out…

“The worst may be behind us,” “Today, we’re pointed in the right direction.”

Of course, the Obamanator forgot to mention he left some very, very important information out of the report so he and the liberal media could make the report look favorable.

Just some of the same ole, same ole from Obama these days. Of course, this isn’t the first time the Administration has been caught cooking the books to make the White House look better. And he’s only been in Office 6 months!

But not Lloyd Doggett. He vows to keep trying to push the snake oil package on the citizens he’s suppose to be representing. Seems to me that he’s more concerned with how he will be perceived by Nancy Pelosi and Obama rather than by the voters who put him in office to begin with.  Obviously Lloyd Doggett lost touch with his voters. It’s time to send Lloyd Doggett home at the next election, but do Austin area voters have what it takes to do so?

Notice he says in the video that it will only cover 4% of the people at a cost of 1.6 TRILLION dollars. Or that’s what they’re telling us now. These are the same people that said the Cash For Clunkers Program would last for a month. We know how well that turned out don’t we!

And yet, Doggett and other politicians are not willing to put their self under the same health care program that they’re trying to push on us…wonder why?

So after hearing the B.S in that video clip, you can start to understand why people are so outraged. This is what happened when Doggett was cornered in a parking lot recently. Seems some good folks around Austin are starting to wake up and realize that Doggett does not have their best interest at heart, but rather Pelosi’s, Obama’s and the Democratic Party. Oh, and I just love the way he said “…a great President like Barack Obama”! I’ve a$$ kissing before, but he clearly takes the cake!

Keeping the pressure on these bozo’s who think they know what we need more than we do is one of the ways to get their attention. The Democrats and the White House have started a massive campaign to decry these protest as something from a “few” right wing nut jobs.

when I see the White House and Democrats doing this, all it means is they’re trying to say you don’t count. Well, I see a ground swell of people who are being tired of not being counted and Lloyd Doggett is seeing and hearing them also!

Hmm. Wouldn’t you think “organized” would be when one group hires community activist group and busses volunteers to someplace with commercial made signs to protest? For example, when George Soro’s backers hired Acorn to find volunteers and bussed them to Conn. where AIG execs lived so they could protest at their homes? Yet, the media, White House and Democrats never had nothing to say about that.

Now with Obama’s and Democrats approval rating tanking, even among Democrats, the White House and the DNC are coming out swinging at the grass roots groups who are fed up with their attempt at railroading the Health Care and other socialist reforms on America. A lot like they lashed out at the Average Joe for asking Obama a serious question to which he couldn’t, or wouldn’t, answer honestly.

Harry Reid took a page out of Nancy Pelosi’s playbook recently by holding up Astro Turf and calling the protest “organized” by the right wing conservatives.

They totally ignore the fact that their approval rating, even among Dems and especially among Independents, are falling fast.

They just don’t get it!

They don’t get that Americans are waking up and getting off their asses and fighting back.

They don’t get that we’ve had enough. We were fed up with out of control Government spending under Bush. We took Obama at his word that he would bring everyone together and control Government spending. Well, we’ve learned his word isn’t worth squat and that he’s divided this country more than Bush or anyone else ever thought about doing it. Just look at the fiasco he caused when  his buddy Professor Gates was arrested.

And now they insist on ignoring the ground swell of opposition to this Socialized Health Care Reform Plan of theirs and vow to go at it alone without the Republicans if they have to.  They’re counting on Americans to have a short attention span again and counting on all those who sit around and live off the Government tit to bail them out come election time again. That’s why they’re only mildly worried about these town hall protest.

If it’s one thing they understand, it’s that those who depend on the Government for all their needs will always vote for those they believe they can get the most from. Sadly, many Republicans have started to think this way.

In a way, I hope they do go at it alone. If the American people will remember how mad they were at this time, then the DNC going at it alone will be a good idea. Then people will wake up and correct their mistake and send ‘em back home at next Fall’s election. Yeah, I see that happening!

Hey, I mean abortion is a choice if you listen to them, but paying for it is the taxpayer’s responsibility the way they think. This is just another reason why this bill needs flushed down the toilet and any politician voting for it needs defeated and sent home in the next elections.

Funny, I haven’t heard this on any of the mainstream media outlets, have you?

Illegal aliens will benefit from the Stimulus Package also. How you ask? Previously, before you hired someone, you had to verify their resident status through the Government E-Verify system. This would tell an employer whether or not the person was a citizen or not. However, this requirement for employers to use this system was removed with the Bill by the Democrats and Obama as a payback to the Spanish groups that helped turn out the Spanish vote for Obama.

A cool 15% of jobs in the Construction field alone are expected to be taken by illegal aliens now that the requirement for employers to use the E-Verify system has been removed. And this is just in the Construction field!

Plus, Obama admits that the additional $140 billion he wants is also filled with Pork Projects, but he’s “willing” to live with it even after he said during the Campaign he would not support such Bills. More paybacks to the Minorities and Special Interest who helped get him elected.

Obama’s Economic Adviser, Robert Reich says Professionals and White Males Need Not Apply

Have you heard this yet? Apparently there is no place for Professionals or White Males in Obama’s economic plan and none of the Stimulus money should go to them if they’re working in Construction and other fields.

What would have happened if a Republican or Conservative adviser to Bush had said something like this about Minorities? You know exactly what would have happened. But the Media is doing a good job of brushing this under the rug.

You see, it’s not about the jobs going to the most qualified people, for Obama and the Democrats, it’s all about the jobs going to Minnorities so they can keep them coming back voting. Just think, it’s these people that will be chosen based solely on their skin color that will be building the roads, bridges and other infrastructure you and your family use everyday, not the most qualified people regardless of the color of their skin.

Well, this Stimulus Plan is nothing more than the same old, same old Democrats tax and spend strategy. It’s full of pork barrel projects aimed at paying back those who contributed to the Democrats election efforts as well as those of Obama’s.

Can we all agree that this Stimulus Plan of the Democrats and Obama is suppose to create jobs and get the economy back on track? Yes? Good.

Since we agree on that, let’s take a look at some of the provisions in this Stimulus package.

By the way, the Wall Street Journal estimates that only 12 cents out of every dollar in the Plan will actually create jobs and improve the economy.

For starters, there’s 1 Billion, yes BILLION with a B, for Amtrack. This service hasn’t turned a profit in nearly 4 decades. How is this going to stimulate the economy and create jobs? Oh, that’s right, most everyone who works there are Union. Payback to the Public Workers Union.

2 Billion for Child Care subsidies. Guess who qualifies for these?

50 Million for the National Endowment of the Arts. Yes, that’s not a misprint. How is this going to create jobs and stimulate the economy?

Here’s another good one. $400 million for Global Warming research and 2.4 Billion for Carbon Capture Demonstration projects. Payback to the Greenies and Tree Huggers.

650 Million for Digital TV Conversion coupons on top of the Billions already spent on this. I guess all those workers that are going to get new jobs need some R&R after coming home.

Less than 90 Billion is earmarked for projects that will actually help create jobs and stimulate the economy. Projects like fixing bridges and highway construction, improvements to electricl and broadband grids.

A huge portion goes to Public Mass Transit. More paybacks to Public Worker Unions for their support and capaign contributions.

Also 83 BILLION dollars of the the Stimulus Package will extend Income Tax Creditand benefits to those who do not pay taxes. IE; Welfare Recipients and Illegal Aliens among others! Now there’s your tax dollars at work!

10 Billion will go to buy more new cars for the Federal Government and “modernizing” federal buildings. Can’t wait for the flood of jobs this will create!

6 BILLION will go to education projects, but there’s one catch. The Stimulus Plan states “No recipient . . . shall use such funds to provide financial assistance to students to attend private elementary or secondary schools”

Ouch! Big payback for the Teachers Union and NEA.  Can’t have those kids going to private school and learning more than Johnny who’s stuck in a Public School surrounded by Liberal Idiots!

Oh, last but certainly not least, there’s the provision for Sexual Transmitted Disease Kits. I guess if we’re going to get screwed, at least they’ll tell us how to deal with any of the nasties we might get from them.

Okay all you Obama supporters. You wanted change, you got it. This bill will cost us an additional 340+ Billion in interest…if we pay it off by 2020! Now what do you think the chances are that we’ll have it paid off by then? No, this is nothing more than a Democrat wish list and everyone wonders why the Republicans are fighting it.

This country has never spent it’s way out of tough times, yet Obama and his loyal band of Democrats want to try every chance they get. It’s how they’ve operated for a long time.

Joe The Plumber Actually Gets It

I read this interview on Family Security Matters with Joe. He’s you’re average guy in America. He works toward the American dream. And what’s so special about him is that he actually knows what the American Dream is, unlike so many Obama supporters.

He also sees past the crap that Obama dishes out. Again, unlike many Americans.

Main Stream Media Jumps on Joe The Plumber

Now it seems that the main stream media has a new target and his name is Joe The Plumber. How dare an Average Joe (no pun intended) question the Obamesiah about his plans for America, thus exposing his Socialist plans for America. The same plans the main stream media has worked so hard to keep the lid on.

Now they’ve dug up that Joe owes some back taxes. Is it any wonder why he’s worried about Obama’s tax increase? There are many small businesses who owe back taxes, myself being one of them. You make payments and pay them as you can. Simple as that.

The fact that Joe The Plumber owes back taxes actually gives his plight more creditbility.

The bashing doesn’t stop with the media either. Everyone from Obama hisself down to the late night talk show host have pounced on Joe. Obama’s remarks at a rally was “How many plumbers do you know who make $250,000?” Ummm, actually Obama, I know many small business owners with just a few employees that gross over $250,000. This is why Obama’s Socialist plan is so scary.

As for the late night talk show host like Letterman and Leno, well it’s no secret that they’re Liberals with an audience. They’ve never tried to hide it so I guess it was expected for them to show their true colors.

I’m betting that more of Obama’s Socialist views are uncovered between now and election time. I’m also betting his handlers will keep Joe the Plumber’s from asking him anymore simple questions!

On a lighter note, has anyone seen President Obama and the Filipino Clone? The resemblence is scary! It makes you wonder if some secret agency has been cloning humans for a long time. That would explain a lot about Obama’s past!

I’m Voting Democrat this year and here’s why.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe discussing Christ in our schools is offensive but atheism, Islam, Buddhism, Occultism & any other religion is OK because these religions are peaceful & Christians are warlike.

I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don’t have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don’t want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse. My neighbor is going to marry his dog. They are of the same sex, so it’s ok.

So now you have it. There’s only one logical choice for President this year!

When Experience, Knowledge and Honor Just Aren’t Good Enough.

Vote Obama.

See. Told you it was a simple, logical answer. Vote Obama and all our concerns and problems will vanish January 20th, 2009. The World will become an instant Utopia.

Since last weekend though, my opinion may be wrong.

My Wife and I had dinner with some friends last Saturday night. When we’re out with these particular friends, we’ve learned not to bring up the subject of Politics. They’re die hard Democrats and hold a deep hatred for all things Republican and Bush. To say we’ve ended a few evenings in the past with hard feelings along with a little resentment talking about Politics, would be an understatement.

So it was you could have knocked me over with a feather when the husband said “Well, I can tell you one thing about this Presidential election, I won’t be voting for Obama”

I was shocked and nearly choked on the piece of steak I was eating.

“Why is that?” I asked

“Well” he said ” I don’t trust Obama. There is something sinister about this guy and I think a lot of it has to do with his being a Muslim. I think that whole blow up about his Pastor and the Chicago Church was nothing more than a smoke screen to divert peoples attention away from the fact that he was raised as a Muslim.”

Damn, someone pinch me, I’m freakin’ dreaming! I couldn’t believe what I just heard.

A die hard Dem pointing out the obvious…and meaning it!

“You know they say once you’re a Muslim you’re always a Muslim” I asked.

“Yep” he said. “But don’t get all happy with me just yet, I’m not sure I’ll vote for McCain either. I’m afraid I may end up voting for neither one of these jokers”

“No that is something we can agree on” I said half seriously.

Now if this hardcore Democrat can see the obvious and further more come out and admit the reason why he’s not voting for the “Chosen One”, you have to have hope that others will see the light when they go to vote. I’m betting more than one Democrat will either stay home or put a Vote in for the “R” team instead of putting it down for the Donkey’s team.

I am real surprised more hasn’t been made about his Muslim ties. Of course, the Media believes he’s their darling so they’re not going to say much unless it’s forced on them.

Hey, can we get Karl Rove a plane ticket to Indonesia to check out Obama’s childhood as a Muslim?

Don’t get me wrong, I think John McCain is a fine American and honorable, I just don’t think he’s Presidential material. More so than the Democratic challengers obviously, but not really the best of the field.

Any how, let’s look at his recent “apology”. These days John seems to be handing out apologies like they’re on sale.

John McCain’s latest apology was aimed at Barak Obama after talk show host Bill Cunningham used Barak’s middle name 3 times during a speech in Cincinnati.

Why would John McCain apologize because someone used someone else’s middle name in a speech?

Well, because Barak Obama’s middle name is Hussein. Ya, as in Saddam Hussein. For some reason not known to many of us, Barak must not want it widely known that this is is middle name. Or why else would John McCain be apologizing because some shock jock used it in a pre-appearance speech?

Funny, I don’t recall an apology when John McCain dropped the F-bomb on Senator John Cornyn.

If Barak Hussein Obama is ashamed of his middle name and Muslim past, then let him change it or make excuses for it. No one, especially a Presidential Candidate, should have to apologize for someone else using one of their Challengers middle name of all things!

Naw, for me, John McCain is soft in way too many areas. I’ve often questioned whether or not John McCain really has the gonads for a knock down and drag out Presidential Campaign, it’s beginning to look like he doesn’t. Actually, it’s looked like this a long while.

It’s no secret that he’s often been more critical of the Presidents policies than he has of the Democrats policies. In fact, many thought he might have joined John Kerry or another third party last elections because of how “soft” and non-conservative many of his actions were.

This latest “apology” just goes to prove that John McCain will be one of these apologetic Presidential candidates who is more worried about his appearance in the Media than he is about his base’s opinion.

There was no shortage of media coverage prior to Bill Clinton’s campaign speech, however once Clinton showed up, over an hour and half late, the 8000 seat U of H facility looked deserted. Conservative estimates put the number of attendees to Bill Clinton’s campaign stop at around 2000 but if you watch the short news clip, there’s hardly anyone in the seats. It’s also a helluva lot less than the 17,000 that showed up at the Barak “Osama” Bama speech Tuesday night at the Toyota Center.

If you don’t know what this means, I’ll tell you. It means Hillary is in bigger trouble here in Texas than what the News media is telling us.

When was the last time Bill Clinton visited a liberal campus like the U of H and only 2000 people show up?

I agree with a lot of other people who say Bill Clinton’s hurt Hillary’s ‘08 Campaign as much as he’s helped it. He has helped remind many people what two faced, underhanded and dishonest people they are. Thanks Bill…however some of us have never forgot!

And why didn’t the boss herself show up? Well, you see, since the Clinton’s have loss support of many liberals, both White and Blacks, they’ve had to turn to the other minority (figuratively, not literally here in Texas) and that’s the Hispanic vote.

The Clinton’s may be down, but they’re not out. They know if they can get the Hispanics out to vote for them in force, then they’ll win the State.

That’s why Hillary didn’t spend any time in Houston campaigning. You would have thought she would have with the number of Democrats and minorities here, not to mention the big donors, but she’s trying to win over the Hispanic vote down on the Border with stops in Brownsville, Hidalgo and Laredo.

She understands that without them, she’s finished.

Let’s take a bet on how long it will be before she, bill or Chelsea speaks Spanish on the campaign trail! I’ll say that she spoke some Espanola today or at best, a little Spanglish.

Hey, a thought just occurred to me. Remember how Hillary Clinton had that Black Southern accent thing going on when she was down in Georgia and how her accent seemed to change depending on where she was at? I wonder what her Spanish accent will sound like…that’s freakin’ hillarioius!

I also bet that she’s making backroom deals on Border security with the local politicians. I know she sure wound up Houston senator Gallegos. He was kissing her but so much on the Local Houston news shows that he’ll have permanent stretch marks around his lips.

I can’t wait for March 4th to see whether or not Hillary Clintons ‘08 Campaign can pull off an upset in either Texas or Ohio.
