Houston Garden Centers – You Have Unhappy Customers!
Earlier this Spring I redesigned my landscaping around my home. Not only did I pull up the existing beds, I put more in. I usually get my plants and landscaping supplies at Lowes, Home Depot or Wal-Mart because they have good prices and a money back guarantee. However, I couldn’t find everything I needed there so I took my first trip to Houston Garden Centers location in Conroe at 1488. I have to tell you, I couldn’t have been more displeased with this Houston Garden Centers location if I’d tried!
Texas Supreme Court Orders FLDS Kids Back To Parents – Says CPS Went Too Far
I was happy to hear that our beloved Texas Supreme Court ruled that CPS overstepped their authority and ordered the FLDS kids to be reunited with their families. Yesterday, the Texas Supreme Court agreed with a lower court that CPS went above their authority when the snatched the FLDS kids away from their parents. Isn’t it a shame that most of us already knew that and it took the Texas Supreme court to make the State of Texas aware of that?
Texas Appeals Court Says The State Had No Right To Take FLDS Kids
Wow, you have to hand it to the court in Austin that decided the State of Texas had not right to take the FLDS kids away from their Parents at the YFZ Ranch. The Texas appeals court ruled today that the Texas child protective service (CPS) authorities acted improperly when they removed nearly 450 FLDS kids from the Ranch in El Dorado. I’m surprised that the court found it this way, although most of us knew that the Jack Booted thugs at Child Welfare went way out of their way with their heavy handed Gestapo tactics when they took those kids away from their parents. Does The TxDot Think Before They Do Anything?
How many of us in Houston have known that the TxDot is about as brain dead as they come? I’m not sure where they’re getting their Civil Engineers, you know, the guys who shut down 4 lanes of a 6 lane highway and those 4 lanes have no construction workers on them? It’s these same guys who decided the Beltway 8 exchange at I-10 on the West side needed rebuilt…why? They’re not sure why, they just know it needed rebuilt.

According to some a useless Government branch called the U.S. Energy Information Administration, Texas ranks #1 in carbon emissions. Of course the Liberals are saying it’s because we Texans drive big freakin’ SUV’s and Pickups.
The fact that we supply a good portion of this country’s energy through our refineries and chemical plants barely gets a mention. Nor do they barely mention that we’re the 2nd most populous state behind California.

Wow, it’s been since Oct since I posted…..yeah…yeah…I know the blog etiquette about posting and not saying anything if you do go a while without posting…yadda…yadda…yadda.

So…let’s see…what’s happened since I posted last.
I really haven’t followed the political scene much. Although I did see Ron Paul get cut up pretty good by Rudy in the last debate. Ron had that deer in the head light look as Rudy explained to him how foreign policy works. You could tell Ron Paul just doesn’t get it.
