Why Does Barack Obama Need A National Civilian Security Force?

I remember hearing this while Obama was on the campaign trail and it concerned me then. But it wasn’t until Glenn Beck started to put all the pieces together than it finally made sense. It was then I realized that Obama wasn’t just running off at the mouth and spewing campaign rhetoric, he really wants to build a civilian defense force.

Why does a President need a national civilian security force that is just as well equipped, funded and trained as our combined Military? Where the hell is all this money going to come from?

Like Glenn, I want to know why we need such a thing? Who, or what, is Barack Obama so scared of that he would undertake building such an army?

Here are some of my thoughts on the whole deal.

First off, such a force would be able to work against the Citizens. Currently, the military is prohibited by the Constitution from taking action against U.S. Citizens on U.S. soil. So a National Civilian Security Force would be just the ticket to get around that.

Such a Force would likely be loyal only to the President instead of the Country or its citizens. Just like Sadam’s Fedayeen Soldiers were only loyal to him or Hitler’s SS Troops who were loyal to him instead of the Country. Scary. Also, such a force could be used to keep tabs on our Military and intervene should they try and take action against another “force” on U.S. soil.

I’m unaware of any Country that is a free Republic that has a Leader with it’s own security forces. We usually think of those little turds of the third world countries when we think of this.

Furthermore, such a force could be directed to do the grunt work of the President, directed to do things he didn’t want to dirty his hands with, like disbanding protest, confiscating firearms from Citizens, invoking Marshal Law, taking over Radio and TV stations, spying on civilians and a lot of other stuff.

I’m wanting to believe none of this will happen and that the thought of Obama creating a National Civilian Defense Force is just a pipe dream for him. But I’m beginning to see the writing on the wall and I don’t like what I’m reading.

Funny, it’s usually the Democrats who are whining that we spend too much money on National Defense and the Military, now we have a Democratic President who wants to spend the dough to raise a Civilian Army. Not only that, but he wants to equip and train them to be just as powerful as the U.S. Military.
